Vietnamese Salted Espresso Martini

The recipe spotlights salt-pickled lemon also known as “chanh muối”.

Ingredients

2oz (60ml) Vodka

1.5oz (45ml) Espresso

1/2 oz (30ml) Mẩy Amaro Bitters

1/2 oz (30ml) Simple Syrup (brown sugar or demerara sugar)

4 dashes chocolate bitters 

Pinch of salt (or 3-4 drops of 20% saline solution)



Method

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 10-12 seconds.

Discard ice and dry shake (shake without ice) for 10-12 seconds.

Double strain into a coupe, Nick &Nora
